Seafood, Wine, and Everything Fine!
For all those seafood lovers out there, October is National Seafood Month, an event dedicated to raising awareness for sustainable fisheries and celebrating the benefits of consuming seafood. Seafood is a rich source of lean protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. It's recommended to eat two meals of low-mercury seafood each week.
We're about halfway through Lent, and if you're sticking to the red meat abstinence rigorously, then keep up the good work! People partake in Lent for good reasons, but some people think that coming up with lunch and dinner menus that are free of red meat can be difficult. We prefer to look at the bright side: now is a great time to experiment with delicious seafood dishes!
